GMF Core Beliefs

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal.

"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all"

God the Father has always been. He created everything and is in everything that has ever been. He is Yahweh, the breath of life. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the First and the Last. There is no one before Him. His love for us and grace for us by sending His Son Jesus to die for us is beyond anyone's possible understanding. He willingly sacrificed His only Son so we could live with Him in Heaven forever. What an AMAZING Heavenly Father we have. He patiently waits for us to come to Him.

Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.

Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He sits at the right hand of God the Father.  God loves us so much and sent His son Jesus as a the ultimate sacrifice for us. Jesus became human and was born of a virgin. He started out as a baby just as we all do, and learned everything we all have to learn, how to sit up, babble, eat, walk, talk, play, grow, have fun, and also  lived a sinless human life. Jesus offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all mankind by dying on the cross. His blood covers every single sin no matter how big no matter how horrible we think it is, no matter how small. Jesus arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death and fulfilling the prophecy as well. He ascended to Heaven's glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

After Jesus ascended into Heaven, He said He would send a Comforter, a Helper until He returns again for His people. That is the Holy Spirit that we have with us now. The Holy Spirit is equal to God the Father and the Son as part of the Trinity. Anyone who believes and accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior, recieves the Holy Spirit as their Helper and their Comforter. The Holy Spirit also acts as a conscience to help us discern right from wrong and to know what God is trying to tell us when we pray, or when we are reading the Scripture, or just in our daily lives. The Holy Spirit resides in every single believer and goes with us wherever we go. As we allow ourselves to become more in tune to the Holy Spirit, we are able to discern more of what God has for our lives and what He is calling us to do.
